SANREMO IN FIORE 2026

Flower Parade and Flower Festival
(site updated on 03/04/2026)

The ticket purchasing system for the grandstand seats on March 29 is now active (link active).

Starting Saturday, March 7, tickets can also be purchased at the infopoint on Via Matteotti in Sanremo.

Sanremo in Fiore returns on Sunday, March 29, 2026, with the traditional Sanremo in Fiore flower parade, a landmark event of the Ligurian spring and the floral culture of the city and the entire Riviera dei Fiori. The parade of floats decorated with thousands of fresh flowers, created by local municipalities, is the heart of the event and one of the most anticipated appointments of the year.

Accompanying it from Wednesday, March 25 to Sunday, March 29, 2026, is the Flower Festival, a program of cultural, artistic, and educational events spread throughout the city that expands and enriches the experience.

The 2026 edition is dedicated to the theme “What Joy! … among emotions, colors, and broadcasts”, a tribute to the history of Italian television and the programs that have accompanied entire generations. The featured shows will be: Sanremo Festival, Rischiatutto, Lascia o raddoppia, Fantastico, Canzonissima, Portobello, Discoring, Giochi senza frontiere, Quark, Ballando con le stelle, and Linea Verde. The Sanremo Music Festival will naturally be associated with the Sanremo float, while the other pairings will be decided by drawing lots.

The route of the Sanremo in Fiore flower parade will wind through a loop passing some of the city's most recognizable landmarks: Lungomare Italo Calvino, Piazzale Carlo Dapporto, the former railway station area, the stretch of the cycle path parallel to Via Nino Bixio, up to the Vittorio Veneto Gardens.

The parade on Sunday, March 29 will be preceded, as per tradition, by performances from marching bands and folklore groups scheduled for Saturday, March 28, along with side events in the preceding days across various points in the city: a way to experience Sanremo in Fiore as a widespread and extended celebration, rather than just a single-day event.

The Flower Festival revolves around the Sanremo in Fiore flower parade, scheduled from Wednesday, March 25 to Sunday, March 29, 2026: a hub of widespread side initiatives that complements the main event and expands the experience with exhibitions, installations, meetings, music, and cultural activities, transforming the city into a journey through art, culture, and floral production while highlighting the local supply chain and the identity of the Riviera dei Fiori.

Key initiatives include thematic exhibitions dedicated to the history and culture of flowers, floral installations and urban displays, meetings and in-depth sessions on the floriculture sector, concerts, shows and screenings, workshops for the public, and markets featuring local products.

Among the most significant appointments is the exhibition “From the Egyptians to Sanremo – Flowers and Fragrances through History”, hosted at Forte Santa Tecla and open from Thursday to Sunday, an integral part of the event's cultural program.

Sanremo in Fiore is one of Italy's most important floral events and represents the perfect synthesis of tradition, tourism, and local identity. The event showcases the historical role of floriculture in the province of Imperia and the Riviera dei Fiori, and the deep connection between production, landscape, and culture.

The Sanremo in Fiore flower parade, together with the Flower Festival, offers a complete experience: from the spectacular parade to cultural routes, from artistic installations to meetings dedicated to the production chain, as well as markets and initiatives spread throughout the city center.

An event that draws visitors, organized groups, and industry professionals every year, confirming Sanremo as an international benchmark for floriculture and an ideal destination for spring tourism.

The tourist office informs that ticket sales for the grandstands of the Flower Parade on Sunday, March 29, opened on March 2.

Sanremoinfiore 2026: the Flower Parade becomes a story of Italian television

It will be a journey through emotions, colors, and collective memory at the Corso Fiorito 2026, scheduled for Sunday, March 29, with the official theme: “What JOY! ... among emotions, colors, and broadcasts”.

The new edition of Sanremoinfiore, promoted by the Tourism Department led by Alessandro Sindoni, will pay tribute to the history of Italian television through broadcasts that have marked entire generations, starting with the figure of Mike Bongiorno.

“Each float will be paired with a television broadcast,” explains Councillor Sindoni, “transforming the parade into a living story capable of uniting tradition and collective imagination.”

The broadcasts represented will be the Sanremo Festival, Rischiatutto, Lascia o raddoppia, Fantastico, Canzonissima, Portobello, Discoring, Giochi senza frontiere, Quark, Ballando con le stelle, and Linea Verde. The Sanremo Festival will naturally be associated with the Sanremo float, while the other pairings will be drawn by lot.

The parade on Sunday, March 29 will be preceded, as tradition dictates, by performances of musical bands and folk groups scheduled for Saturday, March 28, along with side events in the days leading up to it at various points in the city.

The route will wind in a loop along Lungomare Italo Calvino, piazzale Carlo Dapporto, the area of the former railway station, the stretch of the cycle path parallel to via Nino Bixio up to the Giardini Vittorio Veneto.

In piazzale Carlo Dapporto, stands will be set up for about 1,000 people.
